In October 1964, The Dave Brubeck Quartet and the Count Basie Orchestra performed a stunning concert at the Lincoln Centre’s Philharmonic Hall. The concert's poster art was conceived by legendary graphic designer Milton Glaser who also designed logos for I Love NYC, DC Comics and the Brooklyn Brewery. In 1968, Glaser co-founded New York Magazine with Clay Felker, and President Barack Obama awarded him with the National Medal of Arts in 2009.
